›Standard tire pressure in psi vs bar?
Most cars run at 30-35 psi, which is about 2.1-2.4 bar or 210-240 kPa. Always check your car's door sticker.
›What's 1 atmosphere?
1 atm = 101,325 Pa = 1.01325 bar = 14.696 psi = 760 mmHg. It's the average sea-level air pressure.
›Why is blood pressure in mmHg?
Because the original sphygmomanometer used a column of mercury — height in mm directly indicated pressure. The unit stuck even though modern devices are digital.
›psi or kPa on tire sidewalls?
US-market tires usually show psi; rest-of-world tires show kPa or bar (sometimes both). 1 bar ≈ 14.5 psi.
