Veelgestelde vragen

Quick answers.

Why separate files into main, variables, and outputs?

Partitioning files is the standard Terraform pattern for readability. It separates the resource logic in `main.tf` from the input definitions in `variables.tf` and the exported data in `outputs.tf`.

Is the generated HCL code valid?

Yes, the generator produces syntactically correct HCL (HashiCorp Configuration Language). You will still need to add your specific provider logic and resource arguments within the generated blocks.

Does this support Terraform 0.12 and later?

Yes, the scaffold uses the modern HCL2 syntax and standard variable block structures compatible with all recent Terraform versions.

Are my resource names or variables sent to a server?

No. All template generation is performed client-side in your browser. No infrastructure details or configuration data are ever transmitted to our servers.
