Preguntas frecuentes

Quick answers.

Does this tool handle my entire Webpack config?

It translates the most common properties like `alias`, `devServer`, `externals`, and `define`. Complex custom loaders or bespoke Webpack plugins may require manual adjustment in the Vite environment.

How are environment variables handled?

Vite uses `import.meta.env` and requires a `VITE_` prefix by default. This helper will suggest how to update your `DefinePlugin` settings to match Vite's approach.

Is my configuration stored anywhere?

No. The translation logic is executed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No part of your configuration is sent to a server or stored in a database.

What happens to Babel configuration?

Vite handles JSX and TypeScript out of the box using esbuild. If you have complex Babel transforms, the tool will recommend adding the `@vitejs/plugin-react` or similar official plugins.
