No. The renaming logic runs locally in your browser via the File System Access API. Your data remains on your physical drive at all times.

›Can I undo a bulk rename operation?

Most modern operating systems allow a single `Ctrl+Z` or `Cmd+Z` in the file explorer to undo a batch change, but we recommend checking the live preview carefully before clicking apply.

›What renaming patterns are supported?

You can use search-and-replace, add sequential numbering, change character casing, or add prefixes and suffixes to every file in the list.

›Does this tool work with folders?

This tool is designed specifically for renaming files within a directory. To rename the directories themselves, you should process them as individual items.
