About AnytimeConvert

303=tools, one tab

A solo workshop for everyday conversions.

Private · Offline · Free forever

One focused home for every converter.

We built AnytimeConvert because most converter sites feel cluttered, slow, and untrustworthy — covered in ads and shipping data to who-knows-where. Every tool here runs entirely in your browser. Nothing uploaded, nothing logged.

We're shipping new converters every week — JSON, XML, CSV, encoding utilities, time and date helpers, text tools, image and PDF tools. The interface is calm, fast, and designed for real work.

Who's behind it

A solo workshop.

Abdul Sattar

Founder & solo builder

Builds and maintains everything at AnytimeConvert — code, content, design, infrastructure. Previously an engineer at various software teams; started AnytimeConvert after one too many ad-stuffed converter pages leaked data to trackers.

We also keep an editorial team of topic-area editors who review content against canonical references before anything ships.

Methodology

How we know what we know.

Where the numbers come from.

Every constant on every converter traces back to a primary source. Length and weight bridges come from the International Yard and Pound Agreement of 1959; SI base units from the BIPM; binary data prefixes from IEC 80000-13; volume from NIST. We cite the source in each tool's Understanding chapter so you can check our work without leaving the page.

Precision, honestly.

Conversions run on IEEE 754 double-precision arithmetic — accurate to roughly fifteen significant digits. That's a millimetre of error in two thousand kilometres. For everyday use it's exact; for surveyors and metrologists, the published definitions remain authoritative. We never hide rounding — when a value is approximate, the chapter says so.

Privacy by architecture.

Every conversion runs in your browser. Your input doesn't reach our servers — not because we promise to delete it, but because we never receive it in the first place. The site works offline once cached. There are no analytics that read your inputs and no third-party trackers on tool pages.

Editorial standards.

Each Understanding chapter is written to teach, not to fill page. We name our sources, show worked examples, and flag edge cases (the US/UK gallon split, the calorie-vs-kilocalorie tangle, the KB-vs-KiB story). Where two definitions are in everyday use, we say so and pick the canonical one with a reason.
